This policy explains how to report copyright infringement, how to respond if your material is removed, and how we handle notices involving AI outputs and public ledgers.
1. Executive summary and purpose
Sidiora Labs Inc. respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of sidioralabs.com and our Services to do the same. This policy sets out how we respond to claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (“DMCA”), and the obligations of everyone who submits or responds to a notice.
It applies to content hosted on our website and within our products, including Paxeer X, Protention, Centra and Gideon, and Hyperfide.
2. Designated copyright agent
Send infringement notices and counter-notifications to our designated agent:
- Attention: DMCA Agent, Sidiora Labs Inc.
- Email: compliance@sidioralabs.com
- Subject line: “DMCA notice” or “DMCA counter-notification”
This address is for copyright matters only. Other messages sent to it may not receive a reply.
3. Filing an infringement notice
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a valid notice must be in writing and include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by one notice.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, such as the exact URL.
- Your contact information: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Before sending a notice, consider whether the use may be fair use or otherwise permitted. Incomplete notices may not be acted on; we may ask you to supply what is missing.
4. What happens after a notice
- We review the notice and, if it is complete, act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material.
- We take reasonable steps to notify the user who provided the material, and may share a copy of the notice, including the complainant’s name and contact details, so they can respond.
- We may forward notices to third-party clearinghouses such as the Lumen database, with personal contact details removed.
5. Counter-notification
If your material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Sidiora Labs Inc. may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.
We will forward a valid counter-notification to the original complainant. Unless they inform us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we will restore the material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving the counter-notification.
6. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, seek legal advice first.
7. Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are subject to repeated valid infringement notices. We may also restrict access or remove content at our discretion, with or without a notice, where we believe it infringes the rights of others.
8. AI outputs and training data
Notices may concern material generated by our Services. Please identify the specific Output and where it is published. Users remain responsible for Outputs they choose to publish, as described in our AI Training Data and Content Licensing Agreement.
If your concern is about data used to train or evaluate our models rather than a specific item of hosted content, write to compliance@sidioralabs.com and we will review it outside the DMCA process.
9. Content we do not host
- GitHub: our open-source repositories are hosted on GitHub. Notices about content on github.com should follow GitHub’s own DMCA process.
- External links: for content on a third-party site we link to, contact that site’s operator.
On-chain content. Data recorded on the public Paxeer X ledger cannot be altered or deleted by Sidiora Labs or anyone else. Where a valid notice concerns such content, we will disable access to it through the interfaces we operate.
10. Trademarks and other rights
This DMCA procedure covers copyright only. For trademark, patent, right-of-publicity or other concerns, write to compliance@sidioralabs.com with details of the right claimed and the material at issue.
11. Operational terms and governance
All parties agree to act under this policy in full compliance with the laws of the United States. We may update this policy at any time by posting a revised version on this page; the effective date above shows when it last changed. Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy available under applicable law.
